教材：义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语（PEP）五年级下册。 教学内容：B Read and write。这是一节阅读教学课，教学内容以篇章的形式出现。 学情分析：五年级的学生已经储备了一定的英语语言知识，并具备了一些综合语言运用能力。学生的思维活跃且富有表现力，他们迫切希望参与活动并在活动中检验自己的学习成果，获得心理满足感。单一的情境教学已经不能满足小学高段学生的需要，进入阅读教学，教师要拓展思维，寻求符合学生身心特点，活泼又不失深度的教学方法和手段。
教学前的思考：本单元教学内容涉及季节、天气以及在不同的季节里不同的活动。按常规做法，要复习有关主题的内容，设计与主题有关的活动。面对“Read and write”阅读材料以及开放性的问题，我们可以设计任务型活动，重点复习四季的单词和有关四季的句型，进而在阅读策略指导方面做一点尝试，以培养学生获取和筛选信息的能力，通过阅读培养学生的书面表达能力。
教学重、难点：以读促写，小组合作写小诗。
教学目标：1 能够听懂、读懂短文并回答教师的提问；2 初步了解阅读文章的不同方式；3 以短文的语料为基础，写一首小诗。
教具准备：1 录音机；2 单词卡片。
