Step 1. Warming up。

1. Greetings.。

2. Sing the song “Hello”.。

Step 2. Presentation。

1. Show the picture of a school and ask “What is this?”. If necessary, teach the word “school”.。

2. Ask “What can you see in the school?”. Show the pictures of classroom, playground, library and ask “What is this?”.。

3. Teach the words “classroom, playground, library”.。

4. Play the word game. Show the picture of a word and ask students to read it out loud.。

Step 3. Practice。

1. Play the listening activity. Students listen to the recording and repeat the words.。

2. Play the game “What’s missing?”. Show the pictures and ask students to close their eyes. Take one picture away and ask “What’s missing?”.。

3. Play the game “Touch and say”. Students touch the picture and say the word.。

Step 4. Production。

1. Ask students to describe their school and its facilities using the words they have learnt.。

2. Use the flashcards and ask the students to make sentences using the words.。

Step 5. Summary and Homework。

1. Sum up the words they have learnt.。
