2000年，18岁的李云迪在第14届肖邦国际钢琴比赛中获得冠军。
之后荣获波兰荣耀艺术勋章、第14届肖邦国际钢琴大赛冠军、德国?古典音乐?获得了回声奖、第6届北德意志州立银行艺术家奖等。
他的经典作品有《乐动柏林》、《王者的幻想》、《贝多芬:悲怆?月光?热情》、《李斯特钢琴精选集》、《肖邦的李斯特第一钢琴协奏曲》。
