The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.

I have a regular and busy daily life on weekdays. I get up early at about 6:00 in the morning. After breakfast, I go to school by bike. We usually have a morning class and four classes in the morning, four classes in the afternoon. I take an active part in the after-school activities.
I usually play football with my friends for about an hour then I go home. After supperI do my homework, then I surf the internet and listen to some music.On weekends, I usually visit my friends and grandparents. Sometimes I go to movies with my parents.
My hometown is a small beautiful village. It is surrounded by mountains. There is a small river near my home. The water is clear.
When I was a little child, I liked playing in the river. My hometown is not so rich. Most of the villagers are farmers. They plant rice, corn and peanut.
Now, I live in the city, but I still like going back my hometown.
Childhood is a time when there are few responsibilities to make life difficult. If a child has good parents, he is fed, looked after and loved, whatever he may do. Children will be given many things without having to do anything in return. A child can play in the rain or in the snow. They can also visit the beautiful places and enjoy the nature. They have no pressure from life.
But a child has his pains. he is not free to do as he wishes, he is often told what to do and what not to do. If he does something wrong, he will be punished. Therefore his life is not perfectly happy.
My English teacher is a young lady. Her name is Kate. She looks beautiful.
